Michael Udebuluzor: Hong Kong-Nigerian striker joins Lee Man after spell without club
Hong Kong-Nigerian forward Michael Udebuluzor has joined Hong Kong Premier League side Lee Man after a spell without a club. The 22-year-old centre-forward arrives on a free transfer and will continue his career in the territory where he was born, on Hong Kong Island.
Udebuluzor, who stands at 1.86m and is comfortable on both feet, links up with Lee Man having last been contracted to Estonian side Kalev. He left Kalev at the start of 2026 and had been unattached before agreeing his move to the Hong Kong Premier League club.
The strikers career has taken him through youth and reserve football in Germany, where he featured for FC Ingolstadts academy and second team after moving from DFI Bad Aibling and Bad Aiblings youth ranks. During his time in Germany he collected a Bavarian Cup winners medal with Ingolstadt in the 2023-24 season.
Udebuluzor then spent time with VfR Mannheim before moves to SZ Dongwu and later Kalev, gaining senior experience across different leagues. His record includes double-figure goal returns in German youth and regional competitions, as well as appearances in Estonias top flight and cup.
Born in Hong Kong and holding both Hong Kong and Nigerian nationality, Udebuluzor now returns to familiar surroundings with a market value of 25,000 and the chance to establish himself in the Hong Kong Premier League. The deal sees Lee Man add a centrally focused attacking option to their squad ahead of the new campaign.
