Fares Ghedjemis linked with Besiktas as Frosinone winger attracts Turkish interest

Algerian-French winger Fares Ghedjemis is being linked with a move from Frosinone to Besiktas, with the Turkish club reportedly considering a transfer for the 23-year-old.

Ghedjemis joined Frosinone from FC Rouen in January 2024 for €300,000 and has since established himself as a right winger at the Italian club. His market value is listed at €7.5m, while his current contract runs until 30 June 2028.

The left-footed attacker has scored 17 goals in 58 Serie B appearances for Frosinone, providing four assists in those matches. He has also made six appearances in Serie A, although he is yet to score in that competition.

Ghedjemis has made one appearance at the 2026 World Cup, with no goals or assists recorded. His international eligibility includes Algeria and France.

A transfer to Besiktas would take him from Italy’s Serie A to the Turkish Super Lig, but the available information does not indicate that an agreement has been reached or that a fee has been set. Frosinone remain his current club, and the long-term contract gives them control of his situation should interest develop.
