Dortmund eye €40m move for Hoffenheim and Ivory Coast winger Bazoumana Touré

Ivory Coast left winger Bazoumana Touré is being linked with a summer move from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim to domestic rivals Borussia Dortmund.

The 20-year-old, who plays as an attacking left winger and wears the No 29 shirt for Hoffenheim, is rated at €40.00m on Transfermarkt, with the rumoured switch currently assessed at a 20% probability. His contractual situation at the Sinsheim club is unclear, with no formal expiry date listed, leaving open future scenarios that could range from a major sale to eventually running his deal down and becoming a free agent if no extension is agreed.

Touré, born on 2 March 2006 in Bouaké and standing at 1.78m, is a left-footer noted for his work on the flank. He represents Côte d’Ivoire at international level and is regarded as one of the most highly valued young wide players in the German top flight.

Both Hoffenheim and Dortmund operate in the Bundesliga’s upper tier of talent recruitment, and a move between the clubs would mark a significant step in Touré’s career trajectory. The winger is listed with a current club designation of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and has developed his reputation there in recent seasons.

Recent league action has kept the spotlight on Touré, with scouts said to be monitoring his performances closely, including his latest outings for Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga. Detailed contract terms, including any release clause or formal expiry, have not been disclosed publicly, fuelling further transfer speculation around his long-term future.

With Dortmund continually reshaping their attacking options and Touré’s value and age profile making him an attractive asset, any deal – now or in a later window – could prove a defining moment in shaping his development, reputation and standing among Europe’s emerging wide forwards.
