Gambian right winger Musa Juwara of Polish side Pogoń Szczecin is being linked with a summer move to Turkish club Amed SK, with the 24-year-old’s future again the subject of transfer speculation.

Juwara, valued at €800,000 on Transfermarkt, is “likely to leave” Pogoń in the upcoming window, with Amed SK emerging as one of several interested sides after making enquiries alongside clubs from Scotland and Italy. The move is being reported as a possibility rather than a done deal, with the probability of a transfer still officially listed as “?” and no agreement announced between the clubs.

The links come less than a year after Juwara joined Pogoń Szczecin in July 2025 for a reported fee of around €850,000. The Ekstraklasa outfit handed the left‑footed winger a contract running until June 2028, meaning any deal this summer would require a transfer fee rather than a free agent move, despite the ongoing discussion around his long-term future.

Interest from Turkey is not new. In January 2026, Sakaryaspor attempted to sign Juwara on loan with an option to buy, tabling an official offer, but that switch ultimately fell through before the end of the winter window. Amed SK – who finished second in their division to secure direct promotion and will be newcomers to the Turkish top tier next season – are now exploring whether they can succeed where Sakaryaspor could not.

Juwara, born in Tujereng, The Gambia, on 26 December 2001, has already accumulated six caps for The Gambia national team. Primarily deployed as an attacking right winger, he stands at 1.70m and prefers to operate on the right flank cutting in on his stronger left foot. He wears the No 7 shirt for Pogoń and is regarded as a quick, direct wide player.

Although detailed seasonal statistics were not disclosed in the latest reports, his performances in Poland have been closely monitored by scouts. In Pogoń’s recent Ekstraklasa match – a late‑season fixture that saw them tested by domestic rivals in a tight encounter – Juwara featured on the right side of the attack, contributing with his work rate and off‑the‑ball movement even as the game finished level and he was unable to add to his goal tally. That outing underlined his growing role in the Polish side and ensured his name remained on shortlists elsewhere.

A move to Amed SK would mark a first step into Turkish football for Juwara, who has already sampled top‑flight European conditions in Poland. The newly promoted club are expected to reshape their squad to cope with the demands of the Super Lig, and a relatively modest market valuation of €800k could make the Gambian international an attainable target as they seek pace and width in advanced areas.

With his contract at Pogoń Szczecin running until 2028, there is no immediate risk of Juwara becoming a free agent, but this summer may prove a decisive moment if all parties feel his value is peaking. For now, the rumour remains at an early stage, yet a switch to Turkey would offer the 24‑year‑old a fresh platform in a higher‑profile league and could be the move that shapes the next phase of his career and elevates his reputation on the European stage.
