Tomi Adeloye leaves FK TransINVEST to become a free agent after Toplyga stint
Nigerian-English centre-forward Tomi Adeloye has left FK TransINVEST and become a free agent after his spell in Lithuanias Toplyga. The 30-year-old departs the club on a free transfer, ending his stay less than six months after arriving from Scottish side Morton.
Adeloye, born in Sidcup and standing at 1.87m, joined TransINVEST in March 2026 following his move from Morton, where he had signed after a period without a club. His switch to Lithuania marked the latest step in a career that has taken in Scottish, English and now Baltic football, with the forward primarily operating through the middle and favouring his right foot.
Before heading to Lithuania, Adeloye had built up experience across multiple levels of the British game, including spells in the Scottish Championship and the English National League system. Across his senior career he has made more than 80 league appearances in the Championship, scoring 25 goals and adding four assists, as well as featuring in domestic cups where he has produced a notable scoring return, including six goals in 10 League Cup outings.
Adeloyes journey has also included time with clubs such as Ayr United, Swindon Town, Partick Thistle and Barnet, often moving on free transfers as he sought regular opportunities. His form in previous campaigns saw his market value rise to a peak of 325,000, with his most recent valuation standing at 100,000.
The forward now officially leaves FK TransINVEST and is available to sign for a new club after his contract in Lithuania came to an end.
