Fenerbahçe eye Dortmund and Guinea-France striker Serhou Guirassy in €32m move

Guinea-France centre-forward Serhou Guirassy of Borussia Dortmund is being linked with a summer switch to Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, with the probability of a deal currently rated at 57% according to transfer data.

The 30-year-old, valued at €32.00m, is emerging as a leading attacking target for the Süper Lig club as they assess options for the new season. Guirassy, who wears the number 9 shirt at Dortmund, is listed without a defined contract expiry, a situation that has fuelled suggestions he could move on or even edge towards free-agent status in the medium term if no long-term agreement is in place.

Born in Arles on 12 March 1996, the 1.87m right-footed striker has dual Guinea and France nationality and operates primarily as a central forward. He joined Dortmund after a prolific spell in Germany and has continued to feature in the Bundesliga, with his market value underlining his reputation as one of the more established forwards in European football.

Guirassy’s recent outings for Dortmund have kept him in the shop window. In his latest appearance, he featured as a centre-forward against top-flight opposition in the Bundesliga, contributing to Dortmund’s attacking play in a tightly contested match that underlined his physical presence and link-up qualities, even as the game ended with a narrow scoreline and without him getting on the scoresheet.

Fenerbahçe, competing in the Süper Lig and looking to bolster their forward line, are monitoring both the fee required and the possibility of a favourable contract situation should Dortmund decide to reshape their attack. With his experience in major European leagues and a prime-age profile at 30, any move to Istanbul would represent a significant step that could redefine Guirassy’s next peak years and further shape his standing on both the European and African football landscape.
