England-Zambia left winger Jeremy Monga of Leicester City is reportedly attracting strong interest from Arsenal, with the Premier League club monitoring the 16-year-old ahead of a possible summer move.
The Leicester academy prospect, born in Coventry on 10 July 2009 and standing at 1.79m, has been linked with a switch from the Championship side to north London, with the likelihood of a deal currently rated at 85% according to data from Transfermarkt. Monga, who is valued at €15.00m, is viewed as one of the most highly rated wide forwards of his age group.
Monga, who plays primarily as an attacking left winger and prefers his right foot, wears the No 28 shirt for Leicester. He holds dual nationality with England and Zambia, and is listed with Leicester City as his current “national team”, underlining his status as a club-developed talent rather than an established senior international.
Crucially for interested clubs, Leicester’s records show no confirmed contract start date or expiry for Monga, leaving open the prospect that he could move on a free agent basis if his contractual situation allows. That uncertainty is understood to have encouraged Arsenal and other top-flight recruiters to step up their scouting efforts.
In his most recent appearance for Leicester’s youth side, Monga featured on the left flank in a tight 1-1 draw against Derby County on 20 June 2026, impressing observers with his direct running and willingness to attack defenders, even though he did not score in the contest.
Having developed solely at Leicester so far and without a senior club move on his CV, a transfer to Arsenal would represent a first major step in Monga’s career. If the move materialises, it could accelerate his pathway towards Premier League football and sharpen the battle for his long-term international allegiance between England and Zambia.
