Stanley Ratifo: Chemie Leipzig striker linked with Hallescher FC switch in Regionalliga move

Mozambique-German centre-forward Stanley Ratifo is being linked with a move from Chemie Leipzig to Hallescher FC, with the transfer currently rated at a 42% probability.

The 31-year-old, valued at €125k, is the subject of growing speculation over a switch within the Regionalliga Nordost after fresh reports on 31 May 2026 suggested Hallescher are assessing a deal for the experienced attacker.

Ratifo, who wears number 30 for Chemie Leipzig, is listed without a confirmed contract expiry date, leaving open the possibility that he could become a free agent if no extension is agreed. That status, combined with a relatively modest market valuation, makes him an attainable option for Hallescher as they look to reshape their forward line.

Born on 5 December 1994 in Halle an der Saale and standing at 1.90m, Ratifo offers a physically imposing presence through the middle. Primarily a centre-forward and right-footed, he has built a career in German football and represents Mozambique at international level, reflecting his dual Mozambique-Germany nationality.

In the Regionalliga Nordost this season, Ratifo has featured for Chemie Leipzig against a series of local rivals, with his most recent outings including a derby meeting in which he led the line in a tight contest, contributing with his hold-up play as Chemie ground out a result. His performances at this level have helped maintain his current €125k market valuation on Transfermarkt.

No agreement has yet been reached between the clubs and there is no confirmation of personal terms, but Hallescher’s interest underlines the striker’s continued relevance in the German fourth tier. If the move does materialise, it would represent a return to his home city and could offer Ratifo a fresh platform to extend his career and reinforce his reputation as a dependable centre-forward in the Regionalliga.
