Senegalese centre-forward Pape Moussa Fall is being linked with a move from FC Metz to Turkish Süper Lig side Samsunspor, with the transfer rated at a 50% probability.
Data from Transfermarkt indicates Samsunspor are considering a move for the 21-year-old, whose market value is currently listed at €1.50m. The speculation comes with uncertainty over Fall’s contractual situation, with no expiry date recorded for his deal and the possibility that he could become a free agent if terms are not clarified or extended.
Fall, born in Pikine on 4 July 2004, is a 2.03m right-footed centre-forward and is regarded as a physically imposing attacking option. He is currently registered with Belgian side RAAL La Louvière, where he wears the number 7 shirt, but is now being rumoured for a step up via Metz towards the Süper Lig as clubs position themselves for the next window.
The Senegalese striker’s recent displays for La Louvière have underpinned the growing interest. In his latest outing for the Belgian club earlier this month, he featured as a central attacking presence in a tight league contest, with La Louvière edging a narrow win and Fall contributing with his hold-up play and aerial threat, even though he did not get on the scoresheet. Those performances appear to have encouraged Metz to explore his potential resale value and opened the door for Samsunspor’s interest.
With his combination of height, age and modest valuation, Fall represents the sort of speculative forward signing that has become common in European markets. If a deal can be agreed and his status resolved, a move to Samsunspor could offer the young Senegalese striker a significant platform to develop his reputation in a top-flight league and shape the next phase of his career.
