Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush has achieved a remarkable milestone at Manchester City, with all eight of his goals for the club coming at the Etihad Stadium.
As highlighted by analytics outlet Opta, this is now the highest number of Premier League goals in history scored entirely at a single ground, with “100% of the goals scored at the same stadium, at home.”
Marmoush’s latest strike arrived in style, as he netted in the 6th minute against Wolves, opening the scoring in City’s 2-0 win and marking his first Premier League goal of the 2025/26 season. The Egyptian had already been on target for the club in the English League Cup, but his league tally remains uniquely tied to the Etihad, underlining his growing status as a fan favourite in home fixtures.
After the Wolves match, Marmoush praised the team’s mentality, saying: “We fought until the end, showed a very good mentality from the beginning,” and expressed his delight at making a decisive impact on his first league start since August.
With this new record and his decisive performances, the 26-year-old is quickly carving out a special place for himself in City’s attacking hierarchy and Premier League history.
