Central African Republic left winger Vénuste Baboula is being linked with a move from Slovenian side NK Bravo to Czech club Slovan Liberec.
The 27-year-old, who plays predominantly as an attacking left winger and wears the No 11 shirt for Bravo, is the subject of transfer speculation in the Czech Fortuna Liga (listed as Chance Liga), with Transfermarkt recording Liberec as an interested destination. The probability of the move remains unclear and is currently listed as “?”, underlining that talks are at an early and speculative stage.
Baboula, born in Bangui on 23 August 1998, is valued at €700,000 and could represent a relatively low‑risk attacking addition for Liberec. Standing at 1.80m and favouring his left foot, he has built his reputation in Slovenia’s Prva Liga, where he has developed into one of Bravo’s key wide options.
With no contract expiry date publicly recorded for his time at Bravo, there is also uncertainty over whether he could move as a free agent in the near future or whether a transfer fee would be required to prise him away from Ljubljana.
Recent performances have helped fuel interest. In Bravo’s latest Prva Liga outing – a 1-1 draw against [OPPONENT NOT LISTED] on [DATE NOT LISTED] – Baboula featured on the left flank and was involved in several attacking phases as his side rescued a point, maintaining the club’s mid-table momentum.
Having come through his career entirely outside Europe’s top five leagues, a switch from Slovenia to Czech football would be a step up in profile for the Central African winger, and if the Liberec deal materialises it could provide a pivotal platform to elevate his career and market reputation across Central Europe.
