Nacerddine Nebbati, the coach of Royal Armed Forces, has emphasized the challenging nature of their match against MAS Fès in the Throne Cup semi-finals, despite their 2-0 victory.
Speaking to reporters, the Tunisian coach stated, “The match against MAS Fès was not easy, especially coming right after the end of the league season and missing out on the title.
We didn’t want to exit the competition empty-handed and aimed to stay in the race for the cup. Our preparation focused heavily on the mental aspect because time was not on our side.”
He added, “We faced a resilient and determined opponent. We managed to score a goal, but there was a lapse in concentration before we scored the second goal.
The most important thing for us was qualifying, which I believe we deserved. As for my future with the team, I won’t comment on that because we have the final ahead of us.”
