AC Milan cast eye over Frankfurt winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya
French-Cameroonian winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya is the subject of interest from AC Milan, with the Serie A club linked with a move for the Frankfurt player.
Bahoya, 21, plays as a left winger and joined Frankfurt from Angers SCO in January 2024 for a reported €8m fee. He remains under contract with the Bundesliga club until 30 June 2029, meaning any potential deal would involve Frankfurt deciding whether to part with a player whose market value is listed at €25m.
The winger has not appeared for Frankfurt in the club’s opening DFB-Pokal fixture of the 2026-27 season. His current campaign has therefore yet to produce a competitive appearance, goal or assist.
Bahoya began his senior career with Angers, progressing from the club’s youth set-up to Angers SCO B before joining the first team. Frankfurt completed his signing after he had established himself within the French club’s structure.
The reported interest from Milan would represent a move from the Bundesliga to Serie A, but there is no indication that an agreement has been reached or that negotiations have advanced. For now, Bahoya remains a Frankfurt player with three years left on his contract.
