Alexandre Zaouai linked with Aris Saloniki move from SC Bastia

Alexandre Zaouai, the Ivorian attacking midfielder at SC Bastia, has been linked with a move to Greek Super League 1 club Aris Saloniki.

The 21-year-old joined Bastia from JAC Angre on 16 July 2025 and remains under contract with the French club until 30 June 2029. His market value is listed at €1.5m.

Zaouai has featured three times in Bastia’s opening four possible Ligue 3 matches of the 2026-27 season, making one start and playing 29% of the club’s available minutes. He has not scored or provided an assist in those appearances and has received one yellow card.

The midfielder’s current involvement comes after a debut season in which he made three Ligue 3 appearances, totalling 106 minutes. Bastia’s decision to sign him last summer marked his move from JAC Angre to French football.

A transfer to Aris would take Zaouai from Ligue 3 to Greece’s top division, although the available details do not indicate whether the clubs have opened negotiations or whether an offer has been made. His long-term contract means Bastia are not facing the prospect of losing him as a free agent.

For now, Zaouai remains a Bastia player, with his contract running through June 2029.
