Jaouen Hadjam is being linked with a move from Swiss champions Young Boys to Turkish giants Besiktas, with the probability of a transfer currently rated at 38% according to data from Transfermarkt.

The 22-year-old left-back, who represents Algeria and also holds French nationality, is listed with a market value of €9.00m, a figure that is likely to shape negotiations if Besiktas decide to firm up their interest. His current deal at Young Boys is not publicly detailed in the data, leaving open the possibility that contract length and potential free-agent status could become factors in how the situation develops.

Hadjam joined Young Boys from Nantes in January 2024 and has seen his valuation rise sharply during his time in the Swiss Super League, climbing from €2m in mid-2024 to its current €9m as of June 2025. That progression underscores why Besiktas, competing in the Süper Lig, are monitoring him as they look to reinforce their options on the left side of defence.

Born in Paris on 26 March 2003 and standing at 1.85m, Hadjam is a naturally left-footed defender whose main position is left-back. He came through the youth systems of Paris Saint-Germain, US Créteil-Lusitanos and Paris FC before stepping up to senior football with Paris FC, then moving on to Nantes and subsequently Young Boys. The rumoured move would mark his first venture into Turkish football after spells in Ligue 2, Ligue 1 and the Swiss top flight.

With his stock rising and a growing reputation as an attacking full-back, a switch to Besiktas could represent a significant next step in Hadjam’s career, potentially placing him on a larger European stage and further enhancing both his profile and long-term prospects if the move materialises.
