Inter eye teenage Congo striker Tegra Bolongo in Lausanne U16 swoop

Inter are being linked with a move for Congo forward Tegra Bolongo, the 15-year-old striker currently on the books at Swiss side Lausanne U16. The Serie A club are monitoring the teenager as they continue to explore options to strengthen their attacking pipeline at youth level.

Bolongo, born on 24 September 2010, has been featuring in attack for FC Lausanne-Sport’s U16 side, having joined the club on 16 July 2025. He arrived from Ouchy’s youth ranks on a free transfer and has since been part of the Lausanne academy structure, operating primarily as a central striker.

Interest from one of Italy’s leading clubs underlines the growing attention around Bolongo within youth football circles, with Inter known for investing heavily in their academy and development squads. Any move at this stage would be expected to place the Congo youngster into the club’s youth system rather than immediately into the first team.

Bolongo’s rapid rise through Swiss youth setups has come via Concordia Lausanne’s junior ranks, from where he moved to Ouchy’s academy in August 2024, also on a free transfer, before making the switch to Lausanne U16 the following year. His progression between local clubs has marked him out as a player closely followed by scouts in the region.

The striker’s current deal at Lausanne U16 has not been publicly detailed, and there is no indication yet that negotiations between the clubs have advanced, but Inter’s interest has placed Bolongo’s situation firmly on the radar ahead of upcoming transfer windows.
