Elves Baldé: Sporting linked with move for Guinea-Bissau winger from Radomiak

Guinea-Bissau and Portugal right winger Elves Baldé is being linked with a return to Sporting from Polish side Radomiak, with the 26-year-old potentially available as a free agent.

Reports in Portugal suggest Sporting are monitoring Baldé’s situation at Ekstraklasa club Radomiak Radom, with uncertainty over his contract status – listed as having no fixed expiry – fuelling speculation over a low-cost or free transfer. Transfermarkt currently values the wide player at €500,000, while the probability of a move is recorded as “?” on the same portal, underlining that talks are at an early and speculative stage.

Baldé, who wears the No 21 shirt for Radomiak, is a right-footed attacker standing 1.69m and operating primarily as an attacking right winger. Born in Bissau on 2 October 1999, he holds dual Guinea-Bissau and Portuguese nationality, a factor that would ease any move back to Liga Portugal in registration terms.

The winger has been a regular feature for Radomiak in the Polish top flight, the Ekstraklasa, with recent performances continuing to attract attention. In his latest outing for Radomiak, against domestic opposition in early June 2026, he featured on the right flank as his side contested a tight league fixture, contributing with his work rate and direct running despite Radomiak failing to take all three points.

Baldé’s links to Sporting are notable given his earlier development in Portugal and his profile as a pacey, touchline-hugging winger suited to an attacking system. With no confirmed contract end date in Poland and his market value remaining modest, Sporting are understood to view him as a financially manageable squad option should he become a free agent.

If a move materialises, a return to Liga Portugal could offer Baldé a fresh platform to reshape his career trajectory and reassert his reputation at a higher-profile European stage.
