Swiss-Congolese left winger Christopher Lungoyi is being linked with a move from Turkish side Gaziantep FK to Polish club Wieczysta in the Betclic 1 Liga.
The 25-year-old, who represents both Switzerland and DR Congo at youth level, is currently on the books of Süper Lig outfit Gaziantep and wears the No 11 shirt. Transfermarkt lists his market value at €1.00m, though it is unclear whether any fee would be involved given the lack of publicly available information on his contract length and expiry. That uncertainty has led to suggestions he could yet be available as a free agent if no extension is agreed.
The speculative nature of the deal is reflected in reports that place only a “?” probability on the transfer, with no indication that talks are advanced. However, Wieczysta, who compete in Poland’s second tier, are understood to be assessing wide attacking options as they look to strengthen for the new campaign.
Born in Kinshasa on 4 July 2000, Lungoyi stands at 1.82m and is a left-footed attacker whose main position is on the left wing. He has previously built his career across European leagues before arriving in Turkey, featuring as an attacking outlet capable of stretching defences and operating high up the pitch.
Lungoyi’s most recent outings for Gaziantep FK in the 2025-26 Süper Lig campaign have seen him used in his natural wide role, including a recent league appearance in which he featured on the left flank in a tightly contested match for the relegation-threatened side. While detailed statistics from that specific fixture are limited, his inclusion underlined the coaching staff’s trust in his pace and work rate in both phases.
With his future in Turkey unresolved and his current contract situation not publicly disclosed, the coming weeks could prove decisive. A switch to Wieczysta, whether for a fee or as a potential free agent later down the line, would offer Lungoyi a fresh platform in Poland to reassert his value and reshape the next stage of his career.
