Jalil Saadi: Morocco-France defensive midfielder linked with EN Paralimni move

Morocco-France defensive midfielder Jalil Saadi, currently without a club, is being linked with a move to Cypriot side EN Paralimni in the 2. Division. The 24-year-old free agent is understood to be on the radar of the Paralimni outfit as they look to strengthen their midfield options ahead of the new campaign.

Saadi has recent experience in Cyprus, having most recently played for Ethnikos, where he featured in the top flight and the relegation round. The 1.91m midfielder left Ethnikos on 31 January 2026 and has been unattached since, potentially making any deal straightforward in terms of negotiations, with no transfer fee required.

Born in Toulouse in November 2001 and a right-footed specialist in the holding role, Saadi’s market value was last updated at around €100,000. His time in England included an extended spell with Blackburn’s youth and development sides, where he made 50 appearances in Premier League 2, as well as involvement in the U18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup.

A move to EN Paralimni would mark a return to Cyprus for Saadi after his previous stint in the country’s top division and cup competitions. For now, he remains a free agent, available to sign outside of a transfer window and open to securing the next step in his professional career.
