Al-Raed sign Ivory Coast midfielder Claude Gnolou on loan from KACM Marrakech
Ivory Coast midfielder Claude Gnolou has joined Saudi First Division League club Al-Raed on loan from KACM Marrakech.
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder completed the move on 19 September 2026, with the loan scheduled to run until 30 June 2027. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the deal.
Gnolou moves to Saudi Arabia after a season with KACM Marrakech in Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi. He made 34 league appearances and scored three goals during the campaign, while also featuring in the Excellence Cup, the Coupe du Trone Marocaine and the CAF Confederation Cup.
His record across those competitions included 44 appearances and four goals. He played 2,643 minutes in the Botola Pro Inwi and added 445 minutes in the Excellence Cup, 386 minutes in the Moroccan cup competition and nine minutes in continental action.
Born in Abidjan, Gnolou began his senior career in Ivory Coast with Williamsville before joining Africa Sports on loan in February 2022. He later spent a loan spell at Stade d’Abidjan, returning to Africa Sports at the end of the 2022-23 season.
He moved to Morocco in September 2023, joining RS Berkane from Africa Sports. In August 2024, he joined KACM Marrakech on loan from RS Berkane, before returning to Berkane at the end of that campaign. KACM then brought him back permanently, with the midfielder joining the club again on 30 July 2025.
Gnolou is listed at 1.70m and operates primarily in defensive midfield. He is right-footed and becomes an Al-Raed player for the duration of the loan agreement, with the move ending on 30 June 2027.
