Simon Adingra attracts interest

Ivory Coast international Simon Adingra has emerged as a top transfer target for several European clubs following his return to Sunderland after Monaco loan spell.

The 24-year-old forward has emerged as one of the most sought-after attackers on the transfer market, with interest coming from clubs in the English Premier League, Italy’s Serie A and the German Bundesliga.

Despite returning to Sunderland, where he remains under contract until 2030, Adingra’s impressive performances have attracted significant attention, raising fresh speculation over his future ahead of the new season.

In Italy, Serie A giants AS Roma are reportedly keeping a close watch on the Ivorian winger as they look to strengthen their attacking options. The Rome-based outfit are believed to view Adingra as a player capable of adding pace, creativity and versatility to their frontline.

Interest has also emerged from Germany, with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig said to be monitoring the situation. Leipzig are understood to be searching for attacking reinforcements and have identified the Ivory Coast international as a potential addition to their squad.

Back in England, newly promoted Premier League clubs Ipswich Town F.C. and Hull City are also reportedly eager to secure Adingra’s signature as they prepare for the demands of top-flight football.

Meanwhile, Monaco have not given up hope of working with the winger again. The Ligue 1 side, where Adingra spent last season on loan, are reportedly interested in bringing him back for another temporary spell after opting not to make the move permanent.

With interest continuing to grow from multiple European clubs, Sunderland could face a difficult decision over the future of one of their prized attacking talents. Whether the Black Cats retain the Ivorian international or agree to another move remains one of the transfer stories to watch in the coming weeks.
