PSG beat Barcelona 4-2 in Champions League thriller

Paris Saint-Germain came from behind to beat FC Barcelona 4-2 at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, in the third round of the UEFA Champions League league phase.

The hosts led at half-time after Desire Doue put Paris Saint-Germain ahead, but FC Barcelona responded strongly after the break and twice levelled the match.

Xavi Espart equalised for the Catalan side in the 54th minute before Lucas Hernandez restored PSG’s advantage with a header in the 72nd minute. Lamine Yamal brought Barcelona level again six minutes later to make it 2-2.

Paris Saint-Germain then settled the contest in the closing stages. Vitinha scored in the 81st minute to put the hosts back in front, before Fabian Ruiz added a fourth goal five minutes later.

The victory gives Paris Saint-Germain three valuable points in the league phase and means they could move temporarily to the top of the standings, depending on the other results.
