Antonio Nusa: Tottenham linked with Leipzig’s Norway-Nigeria winger in €32m move

Norway-Nigeria left winger Antonio Nusa, 21, currently at RB Leipzig, is being linked with a summer move to Tottenham Hotspur from the Bundesliga club.

The Premier League side are monitoring the highly rated attacker, whose market value is listed at €32.00m, according to Transfermarkt. The reported probability of any move remains unclear, with the rumour currently marked as “?” and no agreement in place between the clubs.

Nusa, who wears the number 7 shirt in Leipzig and stands at 1.83m, has emerged as one of the more intriguing wide forwards of his age group. Born in Langhus on 17 April 2005 and eligible for both Norway and Nigeria, he is primarily deployed as an attack-minded left winger but is right-footed, offering the option to cut inside from the flank.

The 21-year-old’s future is complicated by the lack of publicly available contract details at Leipzig. With no confirmed expiry date, there is no immediate suggestion he is close to becoming a free agent, but the absence of clarity has fuelled speculation over whether the German club may choose to cash in if a substantial offer arrives.

Leipzig, currently competing in the Bundesliga, have been using Nusa in an advanced, touchline-hugging role, and his performances in recent outings have drawn wider attention. In his latest appearance – a league match for Leipzig earlier this month, which ended with a narrow scoreline against domestic opposition – Nusa featured on the left wing, providing his usual direct running and one‑v‑one threat, although he did not register a goal or assist.

Tottenham’s interest reflects a long-term strategy of recruiting young, resale‑value players with pace and versatility. Should the move materialise, it would offer Nusa a high-profile Premier League stage on which to accelerate his development and shape both his reputation and his long-term international prospects.
