Egyptian right winger Zizo is being linked with a move from Al Ahly to Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab, with the 30-year-old reportedly on the radar of the Riyadh club as uncertainty surrounds his contract situation in Cairo.
The Al Ahly attacker, whose full profile on Transfermarkt lists a market value of €3.50m, has no publicly recorded contract expiry date, fuelling speculation he could yet run down his deal and explore a free-agent switch if no extension is agreed. The probability of a move remains unclear, with the latest report categorised as “?” rather than a firm indication of progress.
Born in Minya on 10 January 1996 and standing at 1.75m, the right-footed winger has built his reputation with Al Ahly as a wide forward capable of operating on the right of the attack. He wears the No 25 shirt for the Egyptian Premier League champions and is part of a squad that has regularly competed on multiple fronts domestically and continentally.
Recent performances have kept him in the shop window. In Al Ahly’s latest Egyptian Premier League outing before the rumour surfaced – a tight home fixture on 15 June 2026 against ENPPI that finished 1-1 – Zizo started on the right flank, completing the full 90 minutes and contributing to several of his side’s best chances, even though he did not register a goal or assist.
Al-Shabab’s interest would offer Zizo a first move into the Saudi Pro League, a competition that has increasingly targeted established names from North African powerhouses. Any potential deal would need to satisfy Al Ahly’s valuation if a transfer fee is involved, or else wait for clarity on whether the winger might eventually leave as a free agent.
Should the move materialise, a switch to Riyadh could mark a new phase in Zizo’s career, testing his profile in a rapidly growing league and potentially reshaping his reputation beyond Egyptian football.
