Elijah Ly: Club Brugge eye PSG’s Franco‑Senegalese winger in potential free transfer

Club Brugge are reportedly tracking Franco‑Senegalese left winger Elijah Ly of Paris SG U19, with the Belgian champions exploring a move for the 18-year-old as his contractual situation in France remains unclear.

Ly, born in Pontoise on 29 April 2008, is part of Paris Saint-Germain’s U19 set-up and features primarily as an attacking left winger. He is registered with dual nationality – France and Senegal – and is currently listed with PSG’s youth side in the French National U19 – Group A competition.

The teenager’s contract details and expiry date at PSG are not recorded, prompting suggestions that Brugge could look to structure a low-cost deal or even pounce should he become a free agent if his contract is not formalised. On Transfermarkt, Ly’s market value is currently listed as “None”, adding to the speculation over how he might be priced in any potential transfer.

No fee or structure has yet been reported and the probability of the move is still rated as “?” on the transfer portal, underlining that talks remain at a speculative stage rather than an advanced negotiation.

Ly, who is yet to make a senior competitive appearance for PSG, has been developing within the club’s academy ranks and is part of the Paris Saint‑Germain U19 national-team group. Standing out as an attack-minded left winger, he has been used high and wide on the flank, with his role focused on stretching defences and contributing in the final third at youth level.

Recent youth fixtures for PSG U19 in the National U19 – Group A have seen Ly involved on the left side of the attack, including their latest outing in early June in which he featured prominently but did not register a goal as PSG’s youngsters continued their domestic campaign.

With Club Brugge known for giving opportunities to emerging talents before selling them on at a profit, a switch to the Jupiler Pro League could provide Ly with a first pathway into senior European football and a platform to define his reputation at professional level if the move does materialise.
