Oscar Bobb is being linked with a move from Manchester City to Borussia Dortmund, with the latest reports suggesting only a 10% probability of a deal at this stage.
The 22-year-old right winger, valued at €25.00m on Transfermarkt, is the subject of early speculation over a potential switch from the Premier League champions to the Bundesliga side. Data compiled on 25 December 2025 lists Dortmund as a possible destination, although no agreement between the clubs is indicated and there is no clarity over the length or terms of any prospective contract.
Bobb’s situation is further complicated by the absence of publicly stated contract expiry details at City, which leaves open the theoretical possibility of him moving on as a free agent in the future if no extension is in place. For now, however, he remains part of Manchester City’s first-team set-up, having been promoted from the club’s Under-21s in July 2023 after progressing through the youth ranks.
Born in Oslo on 12 July 2003, Bobb represents both Norway and The Gambia in terms of nationality and operates primarily as an attacking right winger, favouring his left foot. Standing at 1.75m, he first emerged at Lyn 1896 FK Youth before switching to Vålerenga Fotball Youth in Norway, then joining City’s Under-18s in 2019 and climbing steadily through the age groups.
His market value has risen markedly in recent seasons, climbing from €10m in October 2023 to a peak of €30m in October 2025 before settling back to €25m in December 2025. That valuation underpins suggestions that Dortmund could view him as a development signing in line with their established model of recruiting young attacking talent from abroad.
Should a move materialise, a switch from Manchester to Dortmund would offer Bobb a different tactical environment in the Bundesliga and could prove a pivotal step in shaping the next phase of his career.
