Adidas will unveil Algeria’s new national team kit on 11 November as preparations intensify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The German sportswear giant, which supplies the Greens, has already completed the design of the new jersey to mark the global event.
The launch comes as Algeria edges closer to securing qualification for the tournament, which will run from 11 June to 19 July and feature a record 48 teams.
Adidas, known for sponsoring Argentina and Lionel Messi, accidentally offered fans a sneak peek of the upcoming kit.
Alessandro Del Piero, one of the brand’s global ambassadors, shared a photo on social media before quickly deleting it.
The image revealed a glimpse of the new design, which embraces a classic, vintage-inspired look.
The upcoming jersey blends retro aesthetics with Adidas’ advanced Climacool technology, designed to keep players cool and dry by improving ventilation and moisture management.
The company aims to combine style with performance, especially since matches will take place in hot summer conditions.
To promote the launch, Adidas has already filmed a promotional campaign featuring French-Algerian rapper Rim’K. Mohamed Amine Amoura and his Algeria teammates are expected to debut the new jersey during the November international break in friendly matches.
These fixtures will help the team prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, scheduled from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
The national team’s kits remain highly popular with supporters. The previous green jersey became a best-seller, with demand causing repeated stock shortages despite its €100 price tag. Similarly, the Zellige 2022-23 warm-up top also enjoyed widespread success.
