Uganda midfielder Rayn Kizito signs for Hammam Sousse after Police exit

Uganda attacking midfielder Rayn Kizito has crossed into Tunisian football by joining Hammam Sousse from Police.

The 20-year-old has signed a contract with the Ligue 1 club that runs until 30 June 2028. Kizito arrives after playing in Uganda’s top flight, making the move from the Uganda Premier League to Tunisia’s highest division.

Kizito’s most recent club was Police, where he made 42 league appearances and played 3,098 minutes. His move to Hammam Sousse gives the Tunisian side a midfielder whose preferred role is in attacking midfield.

The right-footed player stands 1.85m tall and was born on 22 December 2005. He joins Hammam Sousse at a point when his career is moving beyond Uganda’s domestic competition and into Ligue 1.

His record at Police includes regular first-team involvement across the Uganda Premier League, with his playing time amounting to more than 34 full matches when converted from minutes. The available career record does not include goal or assist figures.

Hammam Sousse, also known as ES Hammam Sousse, will be Kizito’s new club in Tunisia. The transfer was completed on 24 August 2026, with the midfielder’s agreement scheduled to keep him at the club for the next two seasons.

Kizito’s arrival represents a direct step from Police into a different national league and a new footballing environment. His role as an attacking midfielder provides the clearest indication of where he is expected to operate for his new side, while his previous experience came entirely in the Uganda Premier League.

The move also marks a change of country for the young Ugandan, who now continues his club career in Tunisia. His contract with Hammam Sousse is in force until the end of June 2028.
