Black Satellites winger Abdul Hakim Sulemana has revealed that playing in the English Premier League remains his ultimate ambition.
The talented youngster, who began his football journey at the Right to Dream Academy, progressed to Olympique Lyon’s youth ranks in France before securing a move to Danish Superliga side Randers FC in 2024.
Sulemana was among the scorers in Ghana’s dramatic 2-2 draw with Egypt in the quarterfinals of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday, though the Black Satellites were eventually edged out 5-4 in a penalty shootout.
Despite Ghana’s elimination and the missed opportunity to qualify for the 2025 U-20 World Cup in Chile, Sulemana remains focused on his long-term goals.
He hopes to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Kamaldeen Sulemana, who currently plays in the Premier League.
“My dream is to reach the Premier League, just like Kamal [Deen Sulemana], but first, I want to become a regular at Randers and prove I can make a difference,” he told CAF Media.
Since joining Randers, Sulemana has made 16 appearances and scored once as he continues his development in European football.
