Al-Hazem target Esperance forward Aboubacar Diakite in Saudi Pro League link

Mali forward Aboubacar Diakite, who plays for Esperance, has been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hazem.

The 19-year-old centre-forward joined Esperance from Djoliba AC in January 2025 and remains under contract with the Tunisian club until 30 June 2027. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported in connection with the rumour.

Diakite has made 17 appearances in Ligue 1 and featured 12 times in the CAF Champions League, where he has scored five goals. His Champions League record includes 533 minutes of action, with a goal once every 107 minutes.

He was part of the Esperance side that won the Tunisian league title in the 2024-25 season and also collected the Tunisian Super Cup in 2025. The forward’s current market value is listed at €200,000.

Diakite has spent the majority of his senior career with Esperance since arriving from Djoliba, and the proposed move would represent a switch from Tunisia’s top flight to the Saudi Pro League. He wears number 29 for the Tunisian champions.

Esperance will have Diakite tied to the club for another season beyond the current campaign, meaning any move to Al-Hazem would require an agreement before his contract expires.
