Yan Diomande has recorded better figures than Vinicius Junior in two attacking areas for Real Madrid this season, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
The Ivory Coast international has been more clinical in front of goal and has completed more dribbles per 90 minutes than his Brazilian team-mate.
Diomande has scored three goals from 13 shots, while Vinicius Junior has found the net once from 28 attempts. The figures give the Ivorian a superior conversion rate over the period measured.
Diomande also leads the comparison in successful dribbles, averaging 5.11 per 90 minutes. Vinicius Junior has recorded 2.99.
The statistics highlight Diomande’s attacking contribution, although they do not on their own provide a complete measure of either player’s overall influence in Real Madrid’s team.
Real Madrid will next face FC Barcelona in the Liga Clasico on Sunday evening.
