Club Africain have confirmed that their CAF Champions League match against TP Mazembe will be broadcast free of charge on YouTube after supporters raised the 200,000 Tunisian dinars required to unlock the live coverage.

The Tunisian club announced that the fundraising target had been reached, allowing fans to watch the second leg of their second-round tie without paying for access to the broadcast.

The match is scheduled to be shown on the All4One YouTube channel, Club Africain’s official platform, from 18:00 local time.

The announcement follows an initiative launched by the Bab Jedid club after it declined to make the broadcasting rights for the fixture available for free without first meeting its fundraising target.

Supporters meet Club Africain’s fundraising challenge

Club Africain had set supporters a target of 200,000 dinars as part of an initiative designed to secure free coverage of the match against TP Mazembe.

The club introduced the campaign a day before the fixture, inviting fans to purchase virtual tickets to help raise the required amount.

The initiative linked the availability of a free broadcast to the amount collected, with the club promising to make the match accessible to supporters if the target was achieved.

The fundraising effort gave fans a direct role in determining whether the fixture would be available to watch without charge.

By reaching the target, supporters fulfilled the condition set by the club and secured the promised coverage.

Club Africain subsequently confirmed that the challenge had been completed, paving the way for the match to be streamed online.

The decision provides supporters with an opportunity to follow the team’s continental campaign through the club’s official YouTube channel.

TP Mazembe match to stream on All4One

The second leg against TP Mazembe will be available free of charge on All4One, the official YouTube platform of Club Africain.

Coverage is scheduled to begin at 18:00, according to the club’s announcement.

The broadcast arrangement follows the completion of the fundraising campaign and fulfils the commitment made when the virtual-ticket initiative was introduced.

Rather than making the fixture available without conditions from the outset, Club Africain had asked their supporters to help cover the 200,000-dinar target before confirming free access.

The successful campaign means fans will be able to watch the encounter online without having to purchase a separate broadcast subscription.

The club’s announcement also brings an end to uncertainty surrounding how supporters would be able to follow the match after the initial decision not to release the broadcasting rights for free.

Club Africain prepare for decisive continental encounter

The meeting with TP Mazembe forms part of the second leg of the second round of the African Champions League, with the fixture representing an important stage in Club Africain’s continental campaign.

The fundraising initiative placed supporters at the centre of efforts to make the match accessible, with the club’s promise dependent on reaching the stated financial goal.

The eventual confirmation of free coverage means the team’s followers can watch the match through an official club platform.

For Club Africain, the announcement also fulfils the commitment made when the virtual-ticket campaign was launched.

Supporters met the target, and the club confirmed that the broadcast would be available as promised.

The match against TP Mazembe will therefore be streamed free on the All4One YouTube channel from 18:00, giving supporters a direct way to follow the second-leg encounter.
