Severin Nioule: Ivory Coast winger joins Francs Borains on loan from Charleroi

Ivorian winger Severin Nioule has joined Francs Borains from Charleroi on loan, completing a move to the Belgian Challenger Pro League club until 30 June 2027.

The 21-year-old left-sided attacker moves between two Belgian clubs after joining Charleroi permanently from Swedish side BK Hacken on 1 July 2026. Charleroi paid €300,000 for Nioule, whose market value is listed at €500,000.

Nioule has made one appearance for Francs Borains since arriving, playing in the club’s 2026-27 campaign in the 1ste Nationale FFA. He had not appeared in the Jupiler Pro League for Charleroi this season before the loan switch.

The move gives Nioule the opportunity to continue his development in Belgium’s second tier, while Francs Borains add a player capable of operating on the left wing. He was born in Abidjan and represents Ivory Coast.

Nioule began his senior career with ASEC Mimosas before moving to Hacken on 31 July 2023. He later spent part of the 2025-26 season on loan at Varbergs BoIS, returning to Hacken at the end of that spell.

During his time with Hacken, Nioule was part of the team that won the Swedish Cup in 2025. He then moved to Varbergs BoIS on loan on 25 March 2026, before returning to Hacken in June.

His permanent transfer to Charleroi followed at the start of July, but after no league appearances for the Belgian top-flight side in the opening part of the new season, he has now moved to Francs Borains.

Nioule’s loan is scheduled to end on 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to Charleroi.
