Eintracht Frankfurt consider January move for Paris Saint-Germain prospect David Boly

Eintracht Frankfurt are considering a January approach for 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain right-back David Boly as interest in the France-born Ivory Coast youth international continues to grow.

The German club are prepared to offer Paris Saint-Germain a transfer fee during the winter window, according to L’Equipe, in an attempt to move ahead of their rivals for the highly rated defender.

Boly’s current academy contract with the Parisian club runs until June 2027. Eintracht Frankfurt are understood to be ready to act before his situation develops further, although Paris Saint-Germain are working to retain control of the player’s future.

The club’s sporting department wants to offer Boly his first professional contract. Paris Saint-Germain are also planning a particularly attractive financial package in the hope of persuading him to continue his development in the French capital.

Boly currently gives priority to his boyhood club, where he has progressed through the academy. His recent involvement with the first team has strengthened his reputation as one of Paris Saint-Germain’s leading young prospects.

That progress includes scoring his first Champions League goal against Villarreal. His senior appearances and that landmark goal have increased the attention surrounding him, with Eintracht Frankfurt now weighing up whether to make an approach as early as January.

Boly’s estimated market value is €300,000, according to Transfermarkt. Paris Saint-Germain will nevertheless hope that the prospect of a first professional contract, together with his continued pathway into the senior side, will convince him to remain in Paris.

The club are due to play Troyes in their 10th Ligue 1 match in the near future.
