Samuel Moutoussamy: DR Congo midfielder linked with surprise move from Atromitos to Ha Noi FC
DR Congo international Samuel Moutoussamy, currently at Greek side Atromitos, is being linked with a move to Vietnamese club Ha Noi FC in the V.League 1. The 29-year-old central midfielder, who also holds French nationality, is under contract in Athens until 30 June 2027, meaning any deal would require the Vietnamese side to negotiate a transfer fee rather than wait for a free move.
Moutoussamy joined Atromitos from Turkish club Sivasspor in September 2025 on a free transfer and is valued at around €1.2 million. Ha Noi FC are understood to be exploring the possibility of adding the left-footed midfielder to strengthen the spine of their team, with the Greek Super League 1 player seen as a potential marquee addition for the Vietnamese top flight.
Born in Paris in August 1996, Moutoussamy has built his career in European football, with his breakthrough coming at FC Nantes after progressing through the academy at Lyon. He later spent time on loan at Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands before becoming a regular for Nantes, where he won the French Cup in the 2021-22 season.
A move to Ha Noi FC would represent the first venture into Asian football for the Atromitos No 92, who has been established in European leagues for more than a decade. For now, Moutoussamy remains an Atromitos player, with two years left to run on his current deal in Greece.
