Bryan Mbeumo scores again as Manchester United held by Leeds

Bryan Mbeumo continued his impressive start to the Premier League season by scoring for Manchester United in their 1-1 draw at Leeds United on Sunday, 18 October 2026.

The Cameroon international put the visitors ahead in the 35th minute at Elland Road, finishing an attacking move that began on the right wing. It was Mbeumo’s second goal in as many league matches, following his strike in the previous round.

Leeds United responded to earn a share of the points, leaving Manchester United unable to claim victory on the seventh matchday of the English top flight.

Mbeumo’s latest goal takes his Premier League total to four this season and his overall tally to five across all competitions. He is now Manchester United’s leading scorer in the league.

The forward is among the players with four Premier League goals this term, although he remains behind the leading scorers, including Erling Haaland, who has eight.

His continued scoring form is establishing him as an increasingly important part of Manchester United’s attack. While the result at Leeds denied the Red Devils all three points, Mbeumo’s individual performance offered the club another positive sign as the season continues.

Manchester United will soon face Como in the third matchday of the league phase of the Champions League. Betting company 1xBet lists Como at 2.15 to win, with a draw priced at 3.50 and Manchester United rated at 2.75.
