Samory Bissog: France-Cameroon defender joins AS Jullouville on free transfer
France-Cameroon centre-back Samory Bissog has joined AS Jullouville on a free transfer from Avranches U18.
The 18-year-old, who plays primarily as a right-footed central defender, moves across Normandy after leaving the Avranches youth set-up. He links up with AS Jullouville ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, having completed the switch on 23 July.
Bissog was born in Avranches on 12 January 2008 and stands at 1.84m, offering notable height at the heart of the defence. Eligible for both France and Cameroon, he continues his development in familiar surroundings, remaining in the region where he started his football journey.
The move to AS Jullouville follows a season with Avranches U18, which he joined in July 2025 after a brief spell without a club. Before that, he spent time in the Le Havre youth ranks, having made the switch from Avranches’ junior sides to Le Havre U17 in 2023, also on a free transfer.
Bissog’s return to the Avranches system in 2025 and his subsequent step to AS Jullouville underline a career that has so far kept him within French football’s youth structures while offering experience at different academies.
AS Jullouville have now secured Bissog on a permanent deal, adding the France-Cameroon defender to their squad without a transfer fee.
