Saad El Haddad has completed a loan move from Venezia to Pineto, joining the Serie C – Girone B side from the Serie B club on a temporary deal. The attacking midfielder’s switch is officially registered as a loan transfer, with the agreement starting on 2026-02-02 and scheduled to run until 2026-06-30, at which point he is set to return to Venezia at the end of the loan.
The move keeps El Haddad within Italian football but represents a step from the second tier to the third, as he trades Venezia’s Serie B campaign for Pineto’s battle in Serie C – B. The transfer is confirmed as a loan rather than a permanent sale, meaning Venezia retain his rights while Pineto gain the benefit of his services for the duration of the deal.
El Haddad arrives at Pineto with a current market value of €400k, underlining his status as a developing asset rather than a short-term squad filler. Still only 20 years old, the right-footed attacking midfielder will be expected to add creativity between the lines, operating in his natural position behind the forwards.
Born on 24 July 2005, El Haddad holds both Moroccan and Italian nationality, a dual background that has shaped his football education entirely within Italy so far. Before reaching Venezia’s first team, he progressed through the youth structures at Chievo Youth, then Monza Under 17, Monza Under 18, and Venezia Primavera. He was promoted from Venezia Primavera to Venezia FC ahead of the 2024–25 season, continuing his development within the same club’s pathway before this latest loan opportunity.
His transfer history reflects a steady climb through Italian youth and professional ranks: from Chievo Youth to Monza’s age-group sides, then on to Venezia’s academy setup and finally the senior squad. With this loan to Pineto, he now takes his first step into regular senior football in Serie C – B, a division known for its physical demands and tactical discipline.
El Haddad’s valuation has risen in recent seasons as he moved from youth to senior level. From a recorded market value of €125k at Venezia Primavera, it increased to €250k and then €400k following his integration into Venezia’s first-team environment, where he is officially listed as an attacking midfielder. His current valuation of €400k underscores the expectation that he can develop further with consistent minutes at Pineto.
The structure of the move means there is no indication of an immediate path to free agency. Instead, the contractually defined end of the loan on 2026-06-30 is already set, with an agreed return to Venezia at that point as “End of loan” rather than an expiry of his overall club contract. For now, El Haddad’s focus will be on turning this confirmed loan stint at Pineto into a key phase of his career, using Serie C – B football to refine his attacking instincts and strengthen his case for a long-term future back at Venezia or elsewhere in the professional game.
