Rafiki Said: Wolves sign Comoros-French winger from Standard Liege in 10m deal
Wolves have signed Comoros-French winger Rafiki Said from Standard Liege in a 10m permanent deal. The 26-year-old left-sided attacker has agreed a contract at Molineux until 30 June 2029.
Said moves to England after a season-and-a-half in Belgium, where he featured for Standard Liege in the Jupiler Pro League and its European play-offs. His switch comes with his market value currently rated at 5m, underlining Wolves willingness to invest to strengthen their wide attacking options for the Championship campaign.
Capable of operating as an attacking left winger and preferring to play off the right foot, the 1.80m wide player has built a reputation as a direct threat from the flank. Across his senior career he has produced regular contributions in front of goal, with almost 30 league goals and a series of assists in France and Belgium, including spells in Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and the Belgian top flight.
Born in Samba M’Bodoni on 15 March 2000, Said first made his name in France before earning a move from Troyes to Standard Liege in 2025. At the Belgian club he added continental play-off experience to a CV that already included more than 150 senior appearances in league and cup competitions.
Said completed his move from Standard Liege to Wolves on 11 July 2026 and is now tied to the Championship club on a three-year contract.
