Ibrahim Mbaye wanted by Dortmund and Bayern

Ibrahim Mbaye is considering a summer departure from Paris Saint-Germain, with several of Germany’s leading clubs reportedly monitoring the highly rated Senegalese forward.

Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig were among the first Bundesliga sides linked with him, while Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich have also shown interest.

Leverkusen have already approached PSG with an offer, although reports in France suggest that the proposal was rejected. The setback could encourage Bayer to revive their pursuit of former winger Moussa Diaby, who currently plays for Al Ittihad.

According to L’Equipe, the strongest current possibilities lead to Liverpool and Dortmund. The English club are also working on a deal for Mbaye’s PSG teammate Bradley Barcola, which could influence the transfer picture. Dortmund’s interest may depend on whether they complete the expected signing of Said El Mala from Cologne.

Mbaye’s potential price remains uncertain, but a €50 million fee has been mentioned. That valuation may become realistic only if several clubs enter a genuine bidding war. Such competition could make the teenager too expensive for the Bundesliga sides, despite their strong interest in his attacking talent and long-term potential.
