Al Qadsiah midfielder Nahitan Nandez is a doubt for the club’s Roshn Saudi League meeting with Al Nassr on Friday, 20 November 2026, after the injury he suffered against Al Hilal.
Al Qadsiah will travel to Al Awal Park in Riyadh for the 14th-round fixture, with the Uruguay international undergoing an intensive rehabilitation programme in an effort to be fit for the match.
Nandez was injured during Al Qadsiah’s 3-2 defeat by Al Hilal on 23 October at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam. The problem has since kept the midfielder out of three matches.
He missed Al Qadsiah’s AFC Champions League Elite fixtures against Qatar’s Al Sadd and Al Gharafa, as well as the Roshn Saudi League game against Al Riyadh.
The injury also ruled Nandez out of Uruguay’s squad during the current international break. He was not called up as he continues his rehabilitation programme.
According to Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah, Al Qadsiah are attempting to accelerate Nandez’s recovery. The player is currently following an intensive fitness plan at a private gym, with the aim of returning in time for the potentially decisive clash with Al Nassr.
The match carries added importance in the title race. Al Qadsiah are second in the Roshn Saudi League with 25 points, level on points with third-placed Al Nassr but ahead on goal difference.
Al Hilal lead the table by two points.
