Mohamed Salah arrives in Turkey ahead of Trabzonspor move

Mohamed Salah has arrived in Turkey as he prepares to complete his proposed move to Trabzonspor.

The Egypt international landed wearing a Trabzonspor shirt, with supporters and members of the media waiting at the airport to welcome him.

Salah also wore the Turkish club’s shirt for the first time on the plane after arriving in the country, signalling the next stage of his move before the transfer is formally completed.

The forward addressed Trabzonspor supporters in a message after his arrival, saying: “Trabzon, are you ready? I can hear you, and I will see you for the first time.”

Salah is expected to undergo a medical examination in Trabzon before signing his contract with the Turkish club. His arrival marks the latest step towards an official announcement of his move, although the formalities have not yet been completed.

The 34-year-old is set to sign a two-season contract with Trabzonspor. He will reportedly earn 17m euros per season, with additional clauses and bonuses included in the agreement.

His presence at the airport attracted a number of fans and media outlets, underlining the level of interest surrounding the proposed transfer. Supporters gathered to see the Egypt star arrive and to welcome him before his medical and contract signing.
