Ethiopia ran riot over Djibouti with a big win on Monday night, securing a first victory in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
In a dominant display at the Ben Ahmed El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida, Ethiopia thrashed Djibouti 6-1 in their Round 6 clash in Group A.
The victory sees Ethiopia climb to fourth place in the group standings with six points from six matches.
Meanwhile, Egypt tops the Group with 13 points from five games. The Pharaohs have a game to play against Sierra Leone on Tuesday, March 25.
