Kvaratskhelia begins rehabilitation after successful ACL surgery

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has undergone successful surgery on his right knee and will now begin a rehabilitation programme.

The Georgia international required an operation to repair a tear to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. The procedure was carried out at Aspetar hospital in Doha, Qatar.

Paris Saint-Germain announced the update in an official statement on the club’s website, confirming that the surgery had been completed successfully but providing no timetable for Kvaratskhelia’s return.

The 25-year-old sustained the injury during Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 victory over Barcelona in the Champions League. The damage to his anterior cruciate ligament required medical treatment and subsequent surgery.
