Ajax Amsterdam are preparing an improved contract offer for Moroccan youngster Abdellah Ouazane as the Dutch club seeks to secure his future amid reported interest from several major European sides, including Real Madrid.

According to Africasoccer sources, Chelsea, Manchester City and Juventus are also monitoring the Moroccan talent, increasing pressure on Ajax to reach an agreement over a new deal.

Salary demands complicate renewal talks

Ouazane’s current contract with Ajax runs until June 2028, but the club’s management is reportedly preparing an improved financial proposal to keep him at the Dutch side.

However, negotiations have encountered difficulties, with the player’s representatives said to be seeking an annual salary of between €4m and €5m.

Those demands could prove challenging for Ajax as they attempt to retain the youngster while maintaining their financial balance.

Real Madrid interest remains unconfirmed

Wazan has attracted growing attention for his technical ability and versatility, with the Moroccan capable of operating as a left winger or playmaker. His market value is estimated at around €8m.

Despite reports linking him with Real Madrid, there is no confirmation of an official offer from the Spanish club.

Ouazane’s future will therefore depend on the progress of Ajax’s contract negotiations and any further moves from the clubs reportedly interested in signing him.
