Liverpool are considering Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa as part of their search for a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, whose expected departure at the end of the season is set to close a nine-year spell at Liverpool FC.

Salah’s time at Anfield has been marked by major success, including a Champions League title and two Premier League triumphs, and his exit is expected to leave a significant gap on the right side of Liverpool’s attack.

As a result, the club are already assessing options ahead of a planned rebuild in a key attacking role.

According to Football Transfers, several players are under consideration, with Hadj Moussa emerging as one of the most prominent names.

The 22-year-old Algerian is seen as a player with attributes suited to a similar role, offering pace, direct attacking play and an eye for goal.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot, who previously coached him at Feyenoord, is believed to have detailed knowledge of the winger’s abilities.

However, any potential move is expected to be complicated. Feyenoord are reported to value the player at around €30 million, while Liverpool are said to be considering an initial offer closer to €24 million.

The Dutch club could also demand a sell-on clause as part of any agreement, reflecting the player’s growing market value.

Hadj Moussa has enjoyed a strong season, recording 11 goals and seven assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.

His performances have drawn attention from several clubs across Europe, with Liverpool far from alone in monitoring his progress.

Interest in the winger is also reported from Arsenal, Newcastle United and Chelsea FC, while clubs such as Olympique de Marseille and Benfica are also tracking him ahead of the summer window.

His rise in the Eredivisie has positioned him as one of Feyenoord’s key attacking players, with his ability in one-on-one situations and improved end product contributing to his growing reputation in European football.

At international level, Hadj Moussa also has ambitions with Algeria, and strong club performances could strengthen his case for inclusion in upcoming major tournaments, including the World Cup in North America next summer.

With competition for his signature increasing, the winger’s development is being closely watched across Europe as clubs prepare for a potentially busy transfer window and Liverpool weigh up their options for life after Salah.
