Jordan Boateng joins SC Kirchberg on free transfer

German-Ghanaian winger Jordan Boateng has joined SC Kirchberg from Bischofshofen on a free transfer, strengthening the Austrian club with a 21-year-old left-sided attacker.

Boateng, who was born in Dortmund, operates primarily as a left winger and is naturally left-footed. He arrives at Kirchberg after a short spell with Bischofshofen, having moved to the club from FC College 1975 at the start of the 2026-27 season.

His latest switch continues a sequence of free transfers during the early part of his senior career. Boateng joined FC College 1975 from Sweden’s Kiruna FF in August 2025, following a move from NK Neretvanac in January of that year. He had initially joined NK Neretvanac in September 2023.

Boateng has already featured in the 2026-27 OFB-Cup campaign, making two appearances and playing 114 minutes. He has not scored or provided an assist in the competition, while starting one of those matches.

The move gives SC Kirchberg a wide attacking option with experience of several clubs across different football environments, despite Boateng’s age. His recorded career path has seen him change clubs in each of the past three seasons, with every move completed without a transfer fee.

Boateng’s arrival also follows the end of his brief period at Bischofshofen. He made the switch to his new club after beginning the season there, with SC Kirchberg becoming his latest destination in a career that began in senior football with NK Neretvanac.

The winger’s playing profile is defined by his position on the left and his preference for his left foot. His recent cup involvement means he arrives with competitive minutes already recorded in the current season.

The transfer was completed on 11 September 2026, with Boateng joining SC Kirchberg as a free agent from Bischofshofen.
