Ajax open talks with Wolves over permanent Tolu Arokodare transfer

Ajax have stepped up their interest in Tolu Arokodare by opening negotiations with Wolverhampton (Wolves) over a permanent move for the Nigeria international striker.

The Amsterdam club are seeking to strengthen their attack with a powerful and physical forward, and discussions between Ajax and the English side are now under way as both seek to reach an agreement.

A transfer fee of about 25 million euros is at the centre of the negotiations. Talks are continuing to settle the final details of the proposed deal, with both clubs apparently keen to complete an agreement quickly.

The figure reflects Arokodare’s strong standing in the European transfer market following a series of impressive performances by the Super Eagle.
