Jong Cercle sign Ivorian striker Prince Zagadou on loan from LYS Sassandra
Cote d’Ivoire striker Prince Zagadou has joined Jong Cercle from LYS Sassandra on loan, completing a move to the Belgian club on 3 September 2026.
The 18-year-old forward will spend the 2026-27 season with Jong Cercle, who compete in the 1ste Nationale VV. His arrival gives the club another attacking option as they begin their campaign in Belgium’s third tier.
Zagadou’s move marks a switch from Ivorian football to the Belgian game after his time with LYS Sassandra. The transfer is structured as a temporary deal, with the striker returning to his parent club when the loan ends.
Born on 5 July 2008, Zagadou represents Cote d’Ivoire and plays as a striker. He joins Jong Cercle at the start of September and has a contract with the Belgian side running until 30 June 2027, matching the scheduled end of his loan spell.
The agreement includes a return to LYS Sassandra at the conclusion of the arrangement. Jong Cercle have therefore secured Zagadou’s services for the current season, while the Ivorian club retains his registration beyond the temporary move.
Zagadou’s loan transfer to Jong Cercle was completed on 3 September 2026 and runs until 30 June 2027.
