Rangers consider Stuttgart winger Badredine Bouanani in potential Premiership move

Badredine Bouanani, the 21-year-old Algerian-French winger at Stuttgart, is the subject of a reported possible move to Rangers.

The right winger’s proposed switch from the Bundesliga to the Scottish Premiership is currently rated at 82%, although the transfer remains unconfirmed. Bouanani is valued at €10m and has a contract with Stuttgart until 30 June 2030.

Bouanani has yet to make an appearance for Stuttgart during the 2026-27 Bundesliga campaign, with the club having played one league match. He has also not featured in the DFB-Pokal this season.

The player joined Stuttgart from Nice on 31 August 2025 in a deal worth €15m. That move followed a loan spell at FC Lorient during the 2023-24 season, before he returned to Nice.

Born in Lille, Bouanani developed through the youth system at Lille before moving to Nice in 2022. He spent part of the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Lorient, where he continued his progression before returning to Nice and eventually earning a permanent move to Stuttgart.

Rangers are being linked with a player who remains under a long-term agreement in Germany, with four years left on his current contract. Any move would therefore involve Stuttgart deciding whether to part with a winger whose market value is listed at €10m.
